Dr. Dionysios Tafiadis is an Assistant professor in the Department of Speech and Language Therapy, School of Health Sciences, University of Ioannina. From 2008 till 2019 he was running his private slp establishment offering speech language therapy services. IN 2011 he was accredited and recognized as Speech Language Pathologist form American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA). At current he is increasing his scientific work while he has presented his work in numerous conferences, as well as
published many scientific articles, translated and edited many books in his field of expertise.

Furthermore, he is supervising PhD theses in the Department of SLT at University of Ioannina. He is also an accredited and recognized reviewer in several peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include adults and children’s language, learning, voice, swallowing, and communication disorders. Dr. Tafiadis is also collaborating at research level with the iCommunicate (iCRC) research center and his record
includes participation in funded international research projects.
