Andri Papaleontiou

Andri Papaleontiou received her M.A. degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Long Island C.W. Post and her B.Sc. as a Teacher of the Speech and Hard of Hearing Handicapped from the University of Long Island C.W. Post.
She is currently employed by the Ministry of Education, as a Speech Language Pathologist working in different elementary schools, special units, and preschools and she is also working as a Clinical Supervisor at the European University Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic. Mrs. Papaleontiou has worked at the Christou Stelios Ioannou Foundation as a Senior Speech Language Pathologist, in a private Preschool/ early intervention program for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders, at the Developmental Disabilities Institute Smithtown, N.Y. USA as a Senior Speech Pathologist and at the Long Island Centre for Communication Disorders Hauppauge, N.Y.
She is part of the Cyprus Association of Registered Speech-Language Pathologists and secretary of the Cyprus Register of Registered Speech-Language Pathologists. She is licensed in the application of neuromuscular taping and the use of neuromuscular electrical stimulation as well as a certified provider of attention Autism Program.
Her research interests include Dysphagia and feeding disorders and early intervention.
